Madison Cawthorn’s behavior inside and outside of Congress is despicable but wearing lingerie and having a good time is NOT part it.
However, as Politico reported today they obtained photos that show Cawthorn partying in lacy, racy attire –and hoops!
The photos could not be independently verified. They are a screenshot of original images provided by a person formerly close to Cawthorn and his campaign.
It’s unclear when the photos were taken, but Politico notes that they appear to show Cawthorn sitting in a wheelchair, indicating they were taken after the accident in 2014 that left him partially paralyzed.

Cawthorn responded in a tweet on Friday,
I guess the left thinks goofy vacation photos during a game on a cruise (taken waaay before I ran for Congress) is going to somehow hurt me?
They’re running out of things to throw at me…”
Cawthorn seems to blame “the left,” but as Politico notes, the photos came from someone formerly close to Cawthorn, not an opponent.

The lawmaker has a lengthy rap sheet of offensive behavior and comments (the lingerie kinda makes you like him) So far he’s;
- pushed false claims about fraud in the 2020 election
- warned that “bloodshed” could result if Republicans should feel any future elections are stolen
- called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy a “thug”
- been accused of sexual misconduct
- lied about his car accident
- been caught driving with a suspended license (twice)
- lied about his academic record
- lied about his opponent in his 2020 congressional race
- admitted he lied about his recent comments about congressional orgies and cocaine use among his colleagues
Rolling Stone reported that Cawthorn was one of several lawmakers who participated in the planning of the rally near the White House that preceded the riot at The Capitol Jan. 6.
Cawthorn has also been an opponent of transgender rights. He scolded Democrats earlier this month about what he claims is the only way to define a woman.

I don’t care that Madison Cawthorn likes to wear lingerie in his free time. It doesn’t bother me, and it doesn’t affect me. If he wants to be playful with gender expression, it’s his life.
