The leader of the Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge, Tony Spell has an idea what you should do with your stimulus money.
Give it to him.
This is the same pastor that was arrested last month for busing in 1,800+ people to his Sunday services and has since continued holding church services week after week, saying,
“True Christians do not mind dying.”
Spell said that the best way to handle the pandemic was by trusting in the healing hand of Jesus. He promised that if anyone who attends his service contracts COVID-19 he would personally heal them.
“I’m going to address that by laying hands on them and praying for them and depending on God to heal their body.”

Spell now wants his followers to give him their entire $1,200 stimulus checks.

Starting tomorrow, April 19 he wants your $$.
“Donate your stimulus money.
Donate it to evangelists. North American evangelists who haven’t had an offering in a month, missionaries who haven’t had an offering in a month, music ministers who haven’t had an offering in a month.”
Spell says he, his wife, and son are all donating their stimulus checks –to him. Anyone who doesn’t have a church should give through his website.
As you might imagine, the YouTube comments are SCATHING. One woman writes,
“Do you realize you are asking people to give up food and rent and bills for your church? You’re the greediest person I’ve EVER seen in my life! How dare you take advantage of the naïve people that follow you and your beliefs! There is a special place for people like you!?
