After a mysterious 12-foot metallic tower mysteriously appeared then disappeared in the Utah desert, ANOTHER bizarre monolith has suddenly appeared – without explanation – and was spotted in Romania, standing tall on a hill called Boatca Doamnei, just outside the city of Piatra Neat.
And just like its Utah counterpart, Romanian officials don’t know how the monolith got there, or who dug it into the ground.
Authorities say it’s actually on private property that covers an archeological site, which requires official permission before anything can go up there. Unclear if/when they’ll remove it.
This one looks SLIGHTLY different, though, with circular markings and slight slant at the top.
So. What IS IT? And why are monolith sightings the new creepy clown sightings of 2020?
