Today in WTFery, Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn get their hot-sauce-in-the-bag swag on in a dance video tribute to Beyoncé‘s “Formation.” While goofing around in Bogota, Colombia, they are joined by Wanda Sykes and possibly Joan Cusack (?), their co-stars in the still untitled Mother-Daughter/Action Comedy they are currently filming. Watch it below.
Not everybody is liking it.
“what in the white devil hell…” says one YouTube commenter…“No. This song isn’t for white women,” writes another.
And: “I just.. the whole video, 2 white women (from the US) singing a song made by a black artist for black people, in a latin-american country, yikes, nope.”
What do you think? Harmless tribute or vaguely offensive?
