I stood in a crowd and watched Kevin Federline perform at the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval last night. That’s something I can safely say I never imagined myself doing. Something else I never imagined myself doing is feeling sorry for K-Fed, but I did last night. As he came on stage he was greeted by a massive “Booooo” from the audience. He battled on regardless, performed a perfectly adequate rap-hip-hop-holler-at-cha thingum, and was then loudly booed off stage at the end. I briefly felt a thrill of excitement when people booed, in that classroom rebellion type way, but then I looked up at Kevin on stage, at his earnest little face peering back at the crowd, and I just wished everyone would stop, dammit. So come on guys, give Kevin a chance. He’s just trying to earn a living, y’all.
