I know, I know, I shouldn’t be giving air to this dangerously deranged man and his looney-tune conspiracy theories. But we need to keep shining a light on idiocy, and let the world see it for what it is.
On his Sunday night show, alt-right radio host Alex Jones came up with a theory to explain what happened in Charlottesville – and it’s a doozy.
Recalling a KKK rally he was at several years ago, he claimed that the klansmen were actually federal agents. And not just ANY old agents, mind you. Jewish agents!
“Quite frankly, I’ve been to these events,” he said in a segment pointed out by Media Matters. “A lot of the KKK guys with their hats off look like they’re from the cast of ‘Seinfeld.’ Literally they’re just Jewish actors. Nothing against Jews in general, but they are leftist Jews that want to create this clash and they go dress up as Nazis.
He went on, stating that at one hate-group event in Austin, Texas, they all “looked like Howard Stern.”
Odious. Just odious.
It’s the “antifa” argument taken to an extremely surreal conclusion.
The people outside Trump Tower today are really just paid protestors and the Nazis in Charlottesville were Jewish actors doing a “Springtime for Hitler” bit.
SMH.
