The internet is having fun with the, a-hem, “suggestive” shape of Aldi’s Easter-themed marshmallows.
Viola Borsi, shared an image she took on a recent trip to an Aldi in Manchester, England. She found her bag of Marshmallow Bunnies and Chicks looked EXTRA special.
She tweeted,
Sorry Aldi, but that ain’t a Bunny.”
The internet was gagging and even he official Aldi UK account rewteeted the post writing,
We can’t even defend this one.”
Aldi continued to have fun responding to several tweets. After one Twitter user suggested they place the treats “in the specials as adult toys.” the account responded with a gif of Moira Rose,
Me reading some of these wild comments and suggestions.
Speechless Andy, speechless!”
The best response response came from @chipmouseEsq who tweeted,
Changing their name to All-D.”
Bunnies and chicks aren’t on on the Aldi website in the U.S. but they’re still for sale in the U.K and Aldi warned customers that if they wanted the suggestive snacks, they better snatch ’em fast.
The tweet has 2.2 million likes –and counting.
