So, I’m nosey. A few pics in my Instagram feed were popping up with the same hashtag; #AlanGrant50. I followed it to see just who this Alan Grant is? It’s a couple, not a person. Actor, singer, Uber-talent, Alan Cumming and his graphic designer husband, Grant Shaffer, apparently invited all their pals (maybe 100?) to DisneyWorld to celebrate their combined 100 years on the planet. Alan turned 50 on January 24 and I’m guessing, this last weekend was either Grant’s actual birth date or a good time for everyone to meet up in Florida – or both. (I was interested because my birthday was yesterday and I happily stayed at my country house alone, not seeing a living soul, just fielding email, texts, calls and hundreds of Facebook birthday wishes, so I felt very loved… but this made me think they took a #cornydestination and #madeitcool) Like any big event these days, you can bring everyone together to share the memories with one hashtag. My favorite caption went along with a still life of a Mickey Mouse hat:

Well, Happy Birthday gentlemen! You certainly have some cool-looking pals with plenty of hot dudes in the mix for visual excitement.
