Kids, I lived through the 80s in NYC and thought I was up on all of the over-the-top musical acts of the day, but I’ll admit it, somehow I missed Locomia!? They were a Spanish pop group that mashed up tropical with Brit New wave with a double portion of New Romance. The original members were Xavier Font, Manuel Arjona, Gard Passchier, and Luis Font but the latter two were replaced by Juan Antonio Fuentes and Carlos Armas, and later Francesc Picas replaced Xavier Font. Who knew?

As you can see, fan-twirling was a VERY important part of their thing, but let’s not discount those outfits and hairstyles! Time for a new millennium reboot.
