Winston Box, a start-up monthly clothing subscription service that caters exclusively to the Big & Tall man (with sizes up to 6XL), has named actor/comedian/activist Daniel Franzese as their new Creative Director and Co-Owner.
Daniel’s creativity will be on display in every Winston Box sent to our customers, starting with boxes shipping early July 2017. He will oversee the development of our seasonal collections, approve and edit in-house designs, and hand-select premium fabrics. His influence will be felt in the little details that our customers will come to appreciate, such as hidden affirmation tags inside each garment containing inspirational messages that promote self-confidence and body positivity.
Daniel will spearhead the development of additional products, services and markets, including opportunities to make our most popular garments from each box available at retailers nationwide. He will also have a major impact on aspects of our operation, such as our marketing, community outreach and our philanthropic endeavors.
Says Danny:
So beyond excited to announce that I am the new Creative Director and Co-Owner of the Men’s Big and Tall clothing line TheWinstonBox.com. it has been so hard to keep this secret from here to Peru. Thank you to my amazing partners and staff and my gorgeous models, photographer Nino Munoz and outstanding friends who all helped me pull this together.
Below, Danny, along with plus-size male model Zach Miko (WOOF!) and other models, tell Access Hollywood why their mission means so much.
Says Zach:
“The problem with ‘plus size’ is it sounds extra, and you can’t be an extra person. You just are who you are. It’s like “plus sized” was used as insults for so long that its fun that we get to push past that and embrace the plus size and embrace any word we want to use because we’re proud of who we are.”
