Rent really speaks to the LGBT community – how could it possibly be improved? How about stage hunks Aaron Tveit, from Grease: Live, and Gavin Creel, from The Book of Mormon and Hair, give a little guy-on-guy spin to the song Take Me Or Leave Me.
The performance took place at MCC Theatre’s MISCAST Benefit this week. As “La Esmerelda” said in the YouTube comments,
“Every single day I walk down the street, I hear people say ‘baby’ so sweet,
ever since puberty everybody stares at me, boys, girls, I can’t help it, baby.”
I’m pretty sure that completely sums up Aaron Tveit’s life.
The only thing missing is a kiss at the end. Watch.
