No, it’s NOT Vivian Leigh in Gone with the Wind. It’s Annelies Maria Francine, a 17-year-old Belgian girl in with some good genes and a great eye. She’s currently in her first year at university, but she dreams of fashion and modeling so she transforms herself into famous Hollywood starlets.
“I have always loved using makeup and hair to transform myself into other people and movie characters. A year ago I cut my hair into a pixie cut and people started telling me I looked like Audrey Hepburn. I wasn’t very familiar with anything old Hollywood related at all, but when I looked her up I fell in love with the elegance of vintage silver-screen glamour!“
Annelies is planning a Youtube channel soon where she’ll give how to’s on recreate these vintage looks. You can follow her here on Instagram.
I promised so here it is! ✨ (I can't raise the 'correct' eyebrow, so please don't kill me!) unfortunately I couldn't get those crinkles out of my hat… 😅 the hat and scarf are both from my local charity shop. 🌹 #scarlettohara #vivienleigh #vintage #gonewiththewind #friends_of_faces_and_style #annemariafrancine
My great-grandmother made this dress for my grandma when she was 18. She always tried to recreate the latest fashion for my grandmother and her two sisters to wear. 👗 I'm 'reading' Irene's Toekomst (Irene's Future), a book that my grandma used to read when she was younger. #truevintage #truevintageootd #50s #vintage #Friends_of_Faces_and_Style
