Steven Sims Raised along the muddy banks of the Ohio River, Steven left home at a young age to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an interpretive stilt dancer. After years of heartache and struggles, Steven eventually gave up his dream and found his home in the City of Angels. While he spends most of his time carrying boxes and writing blogs at World of Wonder, he can also be seen entertaining the LA scene with jokes, funny dances, and his slick personality. On the weekends he's usually in search of his future wife.
We said it earlier: "As they settle into middle age, the Beastie Boys continue to rule." But what they don't continue to do is act in their own music videos. Released last week and watched a million times to figure out every cameo, is the first single off the Beasties' new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two. Can you spot all the A-listers? We tried and think we got them all. Check it out after the jump.
This morning I made the mistake of posting on Facebook something fun about Obama being born in the US. Several angry right-wing minutes later my wall was flooded with political opinions and reasons why Trump should go to the White House. I vomited in my mouth, then carried on with my morning knowing to never again post anything political. Then I thought of something awesome: Ron Swanson for President. Damn, now that's a good Facebook post.
Ah, the classic "sorry, it's over." This was my dumb ass a week ago. And I emphasize "dumb ass." For the last seven days I've done nothing but listen to John Mayer's Continuum and watch Toy Story 3 on repeat. In the mornings I stare at the pink toothbrush that still sits in the holder next to the bathroom sink and at night I Facebook–stalk old flames to see who isn't in a relationship or, at this stage, who isn't married. I've created an OkCupid account, drunk–texted some girl in my phone named Cooleen and slept four out of six nights in my clothes. Every day since last Friday has sucked. And I would do anything to just go home tonight, compliment her cute but uncomfortable shoes, and cuddle while watching Garden State. But, "sorry, it's over."
The Fabulous Beekman Boys new season is here! Raise your glass with the Beekman Boys tonight and every Tuesday night by playing the weekly drinking game featured on the Beekman 1802 website. This week the beverage of choice is Hair of the Llama. So raise your glass every time you hear the boys say “Polkie” or “Polka Spot” in tonight's premiere episode at 10PM on Planet Green. And be ready for some serious llama drama. (t/y Tummons)
Conan does Thursday. The day before Friday. Two days after Tuesday. Three days out from Monday. Cheese dip in the cup holder. Classic Coco. We're still with him.
The anticipation of tonight's new season premiere of The Fabulous Beekman Boys is causing a lot of excitement at Beekman Farm today. To find out what makes Polka Spot whip her hair back and forth, tune in to tonight's season-opener of The Fabulous Beekman Boys at 10PM on Planet Green.
The answer: Jesse Heiman. Posted this morning in Ed Magaña's Friday Vid Bits is a video titled, "World's Greatest Extra." The video features actor Jesse Heiman in a series of TV shows and movies as a background extra. Just a few months back when I was across the street working in what we refer to as the WOW Annex, I ran into Heiman in the elevator. Recognizing him from every movie ever made, I said the cheesiest thing a person could say: "Do I know you?" He responded that he was an actor and that he was actually on his way to an audition. I smiled, he winked, we shared a moment, then carried on with our separate days.
Earlier this week McDonald's McLobster sandwich became a trending topic on Twitter, creating quite the buzz. Unfortunately McDonald's put an end to all twitter rumors, stating that the McLobster will not become a nationwide menu item and is not available anywhere (although Maine seems to disagree). So what about the McGangBang? Yes, you heard it – the McGangBang – a double cheeseburger with a chicken patty in between the two beef patties. Or if Mickey D's isn't your artery clogger of choice, how about a Wendy's Barnyard sandwich? Or Sonic's Frito Pie? At last, fast food secret menus exposed!
You saw the photo here first. But what you didn't know is that Alec Baldwin is actually interested in taking his daughter Ireland for a visit to the Beekman Farm. According to Radar Online, the 30 Rock star has already begun planning the special father/daughter bonding trip.
