You know those thousands of dollars your parents (probably) paid for you to have those perfect, straight teeth? Well, that’s out the window. In Japan, the hottest trend is to make the eye teeth jut out because women think it makes them look more youthful aka desirable. It’s called the “yaeba effect” and involves attaching non-permanent or permanent adhesive mini-fangs to the canine teeth. Yaeba literally means “double” tooth, and pretty much describes the look achieved when molars crowd the canines, pushing them forward. Why bother with Botox when I can just do this? (via Japan Today)
