Zooey Deschanel Vanity Fair Valentino the Oscars fashion Zooey Deschanel Vanity Fair Valentino the Oscars fashion Zooey Deschanel Vanity Fair Valentino the Oscars fashion Funny, amidst all the clamor and commotion over JENNIFER’S DIOR! and HALLE’S VERSACE! and SALMA’S MCQUEEN!, I completely missed Zooey Deschanel’s UNBELIEVABLY BREATHTAKING Valentino. It’s part Holly Hobby, part princess, vaguely dowdy, yet completely sophisticated… These pictures of her at the Vanity Fair party are probably the BEST SHE’S EVER LOOKED. (via SissyDude)

Better late than never? From the top, some of the only Terry Richardson celebrity shots at the Vanity Fair party that don’t have Terry Richardson in them (it’s his thing): Anne Hathaway, Oscar, and Adam Shulman; Sacha Baron Cohen and Seth Rogen; Joan Collins; John Voight and Joseph Gordon-Levitt; Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr; Ashley Olson and Michael Douglas (new couple alert?); Patricia Clarkson and Jennifer Aniston; and Channing Tatum. Vanity Fair stupid refreshing magazine jennifer lawrence interview Ellen von Unwerth beautiful acting There are actually quite a few reasons I adore the 22-year-old Jennifer Lawrence. For starters, she may be 22 but she is an old soul. I like old souls. There is also this: she’s the February cover girl/story for Vanity Fair (shot by the amazing, legendary Ellen Von Unwerth) and what is so amazing about this girl is her candidness. You wouldn’t expect a gorgeous, talented, young starlet to be so honest and upfront about her industry and life, but she is. In the mag she goes on to explain how in this world with Doctors and Firefighters saving lives, acting is “stupid”. She is most certainly not cocky, but rather, realistic. In this business? It’s totally refreshing and welcomed. Love her even more than I already did now. (via VF.com)

Vanity Fair fashion best dressed Usually I hate best dressed lists. Usually it’s just a blatant circle jerk of fashion editors fawning over other fashion editors, models, and A-list superstars they want on their cover. And yes, Vanity Fair is guilty of that. And, yes, they picked Duchess Kate, yawn, as their number one best dressed. Surprise, surprise. But scrolling through the list, I actually found myself applauding some of their choices. They’ve included some real fashion game changers and STAUNCH individuals. Top: Knockout Chinese actress and fashion plate Fan Binbing, and HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned of Qatar. Below: Artist Iké Udé, Eddie Redmayne, fashion photographer Bill Cunningham, Andres and Lauren Santo Domingo (the ginormous mutton sleeves SLAY ME – so VERY BOBBY TRENDY), WOW favorite Michelle Harper, and fashion model, entrepreneur, and aspiring triathlete Elettra Wiedemann.
