The former 90210 hunk (seen next on the CW’s Star Crossed this fall) tweeted “Sometimes when you’re trying to get that perfect photo of the sunset, your pants split open…” Well, if that isn’t the CUTEST THING EVER, omg. (Photo: Instagram)

There’s Almost Human, about a bunch of androids who fight crime in the future. It stars Karl Urban and Lili Taylor and is brought to you by JJ Abrams, so it might be something to keep on your radar. There’s
House, The Sequel Rake, starring respected actor Hugh Laurie Greg Kinear as a brilliant doctor defense lawyer whose self-destructive addiction interferes with his work life. Because, hey, it worked for FOX once before. Most intriguing though, is the modern retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, where Ichabod Crane wakes up from the throes of death 250 years in the future to find the world on the brink of destruction, and learns he is humanity’s only hope. I’ll give that one a try. (via LA Times)
“The following trailer is restricted to Mature Audiences only by Netflix Inc,” reads the opening card, “for Mild Fornication, Fellatio, Heavy Cocaine Use, Lesbian Necrophilia, and Violent Hemorrhaging.” And just like that, I’m hooked! Netflix’s new 13-episode horror series, Hemlock Grove, which stars CUTEST BOY IN THE WORLD Bill Skarsgård and Landon Liboiron (who I lovedlovedloved in the short-lived NBC series Terra Nova), is available starting April 19.
Brandon T Jackson, whom you probably remember as Grover the humpy half man/half goat in the Percy Jackson movies, is on the set of the new Beverly Hills Cop TV spinoff. Brandon plays Aaron Foley, the son of Alex Foley, originally played by Eddie Murphy (who is producing the new show and promises to guest star). (Photo: Pacific Coast News)
Life with La Toya star La Toya Jackson leaves Matsuhisa Restaurant in Beverly Hills after having dinner with friends and her manager. Be sure to check out the trailer for her upcoming show on OWN, April 13!
Gregg Sulkin – whom I’ve blogged about EXTENSIVELY despite never really knowing who he is or what he does – just joined the cast of the upcoming Fox series Delirium, opposite Emma Roberts and Billy Campbell. From Deadline: “Based on Lauren Oliver’s bestselling book trilogy, Delirium is set in a world where love is deemed illegal and can be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway (Roberts) does the unthinkable: she falls in love. Sulkin will play Julien, the son of wealthy political leader Thomas Fineman (Campbell). While his father supports the use of the brain modification, Julien is conflicted about having to undergo a surgery to remove his feelings and eventually finds a kindred spirit in Lena. Sulkin recently wrapped production on the Fox feature Panda Eyes opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers and he will next be seen starring opposite Selena Gomez in Disney Channel’s Wizards Of Waverly Place Reunion.” They had me at “in a world…”
Even though Sparticus announced it will end its series run after the final 10-episode season Spartacus: War of the Damned, new reports suggest that Starz may be developing a spin-off of the blood-soaked series, to center on Todd Lasance’s upcoming portrayal of Julius Caesar. From Screencrush: “Lasance’s Caesar will be introduced in the coming season as a subordinate to primary villain Marcus Crassus (Simon Merrells), though historically speaking there was no evidence Caesar had any involvement in the Servile Wars that spotlighted Spartacus’ rebellion.” And even though it seems a bit premature to develop a series around a character that hasn’t yet been introduced and may or may not catch on with the audience, THIS is what their Julius Caesar looks like, so it’s pretty obvious that at least I’LL be watching. (Not sure about the Keith Urban hairdo and denim tunic though.)
Come war and peace, Downton still stands! The British sudser returns January 6 on PBS! Oh God. OH GOD! Somebody please hold me, I’m about to faint.
