In 47 Ronin, a band of leaderless samurai – 47 of them to be exact –must seek the help of Keanu Reeves—a half-breed they once rejected — as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witches, and wondrous terrors. Notable because A) we love Keanu, B) Rinko Kikuchi is FAAAAABULOUS and C) WOW favorite Rick Genest aka Zombie Boy has a pretty hefty role, so yay. Watch the new international trailer here, that features a new look at some of the mosters.
Charlie Countryman stars Shia LaBeouf as the titular hero who travels to Bucharest after his dead mother appears to him in a vision and tells him to go. Once there, he finds himself in “the hallucinatory Romanian underworld filled with violence, and, strangely, love.” Co-starring Evan Rachel Wood, Hannibal‘s Mads Mikelsen, Melissa Leo, and the always perfect Rupert Grint.
Speaking of Rupert: Here’s the entire pilot for his CBS comedy Super Clyde, which was sadly never picked up.
And finally, here’s the trailer for the upcoming George Clooney, Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray and Jean Dujardin snoozefest The Monuments of Men. Yes, snoozefest. Even with that cast. Of course I’ll still see it because HELLO, MATT DAMON IN MILITARY DRAG, but other than that…
As you’ve probably heard by now, the lawsuit between Zombie Boy Rick Genest and Fox/FX was recently settled. The price? Although it hasn’t been publically disclosed, a source of mine close to the parties involved are claiming it was for a cool quarter million. Says Genest, in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter: “For complete clarity, I was not approached by Fox to license what I consider to be the use of my likeness or my copyrighted body art in American Horror Story. However, I understand that there was no intent to connect me with the character in their show and I am pleased that I have come to a resolution of this matter with Fox.” I’ll bet.

After extended interviews with Rick, Sophia, and ODD co-founders Bobby Webster and Judson Harmon, James and Thairin headed to Rasputin in West Hollywood, where they had a rollicking good time with Rick, Sophia and the ODD collective.
