It’s the Red Band trailer for the dark and trashy erotic thriller California Scheming about a ”teen seductress who pulls three privileged Malibu kids into her devious scheme, and the unforeseen consequences that force the group to face their own fears and mortality.” Devon Werkheiser (whom our millennial readers will recognize as Ned from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide) and Spencer Daniels (the hottie from the new Anna Faris series Mom) play Nick and Jason, the two best friends and surf buddies who are drawn into beautiful new girl Chloe (Gia Mantegna)’s web. I am so there. Opens January 5.

Zac Efron continues his quest for big-boy acceptance in his new raunchy brom-com That Awkward Moment. In the Red Band trailer here, you see him rock out with his cock out (kind of) and take too much Viagra and pee horizontally on the toilet (which I’m pretty sure is not a solution. Discuss among yourselves). That Awkward Moment also stars Miles Teller (from The Spectacular Now), Michael B Jordan (from Fruitvale Station) and the grotesquely named Imogene Poots. It hits theaters January 31.
Hilarious. The red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s Ted, a comedy about Wahlberg and his potty-mouthed Teddy bear, featuring Wahlberg’s amazing rapid-fire delivery of white-trash girl’s names. Is your name on that list? “I thought a break from Family Guy would be a good thing,” said MacFarlane of his feature directing debut. The good thing is that the break is hardly noticeable. Ted also stars Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, and Giovanni Ribisi. We’re keeping July 13 open. (via HuffPo; t/y Steven)
