Here’s my latest free download mixtape Voyage. This time around, I’ve ditched all the over-produced quick stabs and effects gimmicks (mostly), choosing instead to adopt pleasingly slick tracks that build gradually and take you on a full 120-minute journey through nu disco sound. Some surprises here, “For That” track by Pauly D (that’s right…Jersey Shore!), “Far Nearer” by Jamie xx of the emotive English indie pop band The xx and my own eerie rework of Donna Summer/Barbra Streisand’s disco track “No More Tears (Enough is Enough)” – renamed “Tears.” Perfect for a drive-by booty call…or maybe just a slow-mo homo romp on the beach.
