Legend has it that after performing this song with a 104° temperature at the 51st Academy Awards, Olivia Newton-John collapsed backstage. Whether that’s true or not, she looks and sounds sickening. “Hopelessly Devoted To You” lost Best Song to “Last Dance” by Donna Summer from the classically bad disco movie, Thank God It’s Friday, starring Teri Nunn, Paul Jabara, Jeff Goldblum, and Debra Winger. God, I miss the ’70s.

Olivia Newton John’s 26-year-old daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, has finally won her battle against anorexia nervosa and is getting married. She looked gorgeous as she frolicked on the beach with her fiance, James Driskill. She has really come around with this, kids. It was a really long, tough battle and it’s amazing that she’s fully recovered. Congrats.
