Well, clearly someone will, cuz Facebook be sellin’ that shit for $4.95 a bottle at their headquarters in Menlo Park, California (not to be confused with the mall in New Jersey). Apparently, Mr Zuckerberg chose a shade of blue as his trademark because, like a lot of men, he is red/green color blind. So there you have it. I just don’t see the point of calling the color Social Butterfly Blue and not having his logo on it. (via HuffPo)

Last year, Kas of the nail-art blog, Varnished Valkyrie, spent over two hours (“just for the heck of it”) applying 53 coats of nail polish to her fingernails which resulted in the above. “I had it on for just over three hours and it was super easy to remove,” says Kas, “because it NEVER dried! I used a tissue to take most of it off. And there’s everything from creams to full-on chunky glitters in there.” (via laughingsquid)
Because that’s how I hope to combat bullies, nail by nail. Polished, of course. Now James St. James can finally have Harry Styles on his fingers! One Direction in partnership with Office Depot have released this nail polish set to “fund an anti-bullying educational program to encourage kinder behavior among students” by donating a portion of the proceeds. Shouldn’t it be called Niall polish?
“Modern Family is a series that has a massive following. In partnering with Nicole by OPI, we’re not only able to reach our show’s large fan base, but deliver a product that captures the trend-forward elements and unique characteristics of the series,” Jeffrey Godsick, President of Fox Consumer Products, was quoted as saying said in a press release announcing the collaboration, a line of 14 character-inspired colors. And you are all on notice: I’m expecting some ”My Jay or the Highway” and “Candid Cameron” in my stocking Tuesday morning.
Not really a fan of Alexa Chung, but this sounds sort of interesting. At the British Fashion Awards the other night, fashion’s it girl was seen sporting Nails Inc’s Bling It On black leather and skulls set. According to the Daily Mail: “The model-turned-TV-presenter caused a social media flurry when she tweeted: ‘Aaaaannnnnndddd thanks @nailsinc for my leather nails! #kinky,’ instantly transforming the leather effect black nail polish and crystal skull embellishments into a must-have beauty essential.” Of course, it’s not available to just ANYONE. Fashion-conscious plebes have to wait another 10 days before it’s released in England and even then there’s a waiting list for it. Click here to get on it.
