For those of you too young to remember the Hiroshima-like impact this video had on EVERY QUEEN IN AMERICA, let me bring up to speed: Pat Benatar, who was NOT young but played a troubled teenager because why not, it was the ’80s, runs away to LA where she joins a group of post-apocalyptic hookers wearing amaaaaaaaaazing Katherine Hamnett rag dresses, and together they do a kooky sort of tribal dance that involves a lot of stomping and shimmying – and trust me: It was LIFE-CHANGING. Every little budding fashionista tried making their own rag skirt, with varying degrees of success. OR, if you were a boy, you tied a few scarves to the belt loops of your pants and were MERCILESSLY TAUNTED for it at school, omg. But you didn’t care. You knew that you were COMPLETELY ON TREND, and these backwater hillbillies wouldn’t know fashion if it punched them in the face. Good times. “WE ARE STRONG! NO ONE CAN TELL US WE’RE WRONG!”

When Jennifer Lawrence won Lead Female Actor at the SAG Awards last night, she thanked MTV for casting her in these commercials for My Super Sweet 16, which got her her SAG card. Watch the 14-year-old cutie as a spoiled brat covered in cake and falling off the stage here.

This dum dum girl on Teen Mom 2, Janelle Evans, really has her priorities in order. The girl just can’t quit her pot so when she fails her drug test while on probation, she is given the choice of either 45 days in the slammer or an extended probation. Then she meets with her lawyer to discuss a new deal. But it’s not that easy a decision. (via Too Fab)

On last night’s season finale of Awkward. Jenna stupidly! stupidly! stupidly! chose Matty over Jake, which led to Jake and Tamara finding solace in each other’s arms. Which is EW. GROSS. WRONG. Everything about the episode was upsetting. I can’t even. Then there was that weird scene where they found Ricky making out with Clark, and yet we never saw Ricky’s face, which led everyone in our office to speculate that perhaps Matthew Fahey, actor who plays him, refused to gay kiss his co-star. And then there’s the matter of Ashley Rickard’s appearance at the reunion special afterwards. WHAT IN THE HELL WAS THAT? I’m still trying to process the hair, the lips, the foundation choice. What do you think? Should Jenna have chosen Matty? Should Jake be with T? Should Ricky be with Clark?
