After three failed marriages to men, Meredith Baxter is getting ready to marry her longtime girlfriend Nancy Locke. Finally able to be completely free (Meredith wrote about how hard it was for her to come out to herself in her memoir) she can now marry her lady love. Congrats to the happy couple who are truly able to be themselves. (Photo: Pacific Coast News)

It’s true, I swear. The Jonas Brothers like the gays and they are cool with people thinking they’re gay. The Jo Bros told Out Magazine, “we have a lot of gay friends and gay fans. It’s a boy band stereotype; people assume, but we don’t take offense.” If you wanna see more of the brothers, head here.
Christina Aguilera’s homemade (OK, it probably took millions to make it) video for her next single, “Let There Be Love” shows her looking mighty hot spreading the word about love and tolerance. Overall it’s a simple video with that cute camcorder vibe, but that’s what’s so endearing about it I think. Lots of cameos, including Nicole Richie, Christina’s son Max, and the other Christina (as in Milian), and of course lots of love for the gays as well. PS. No, that is NOT me, but I had to rewind to double check. Gotta love our Xtina.
Our buddy and wowlebrity, the sweet and caring Pauley Perrette, is one of a number of stars who are coming out of the closet and speaking up about equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender… for everyone. And trust us, Pauley lives this passion everyday.
Carly Rae Jepsen has never really been on my radar. Yes, her song was an earworm and she looks like Barbie Benton, but other than that? Meh. But my tune has changed toward this woman, as she cancelled a huge show over the summer for the Boy Scouts of America. Why? Because of their controversial ban on openly gay scouts and scout leaders. She said,”I always have and will continue to support the LGBT community on a global level and stay informed on the ever changing landscape in the ongoing battle for gay rights in this country and across the globe.” She was booked to do the show with Train, who also backed out stating that they will gladly perform for them as soon as they reverse their anti-gay policies. Thank you so very much. Stances like these result in change. It takes time, but it will happen. (Photo: Pacific Coast News)
There are many beautiful things in this world, but few touch the soul like a parent’s love and complete acceptance of their children. Watch and weep.
