Jessica Chastain wears Elizabeth Taylor’s Bulgari sapphire and diamond necklace (with a 65-carat center stone) to the 50th anniversary screening of Cleopatra. Says HuffPo: “Chastain perfected that Old Hollywood glamour in a blinding white Versace gown with a dramatic train (which sort of fit like a cape) and long sleeves and her hair styled into perfect waves.” Stunning.

Oy. When the HELL is this going to end? Lindsay Lohan is being accused of stealing one of Elizabeth Taylor’s bracelets from a longtime nurse of Elizabeth’s. Apparently, Lindsay was very vocal about how much she loved the bracelet when she first laid eyes on it, and it magically disappeared from the nurse’s house the very day Lindsay went to visit her. Lindsay didn’t give it back for a week. When the nurse threatened to call the cops, Lindsay’s assistant sent it back to her. Lindsay then texted the nurse that “Elizabeth would be very upset with how you’re behaving.” The girl needs MAJOR help. So sad. (Photo: Pacific Coast News)

We knew it was going to have a certain lurid appeal, but this is BEYOND even my wildest expectations. In this 30 second teaser, Lindz makes absolutely no attempt to sound like Liz, but as she squeaks and squawks in various wigs and jewels, you can’t help but marvel at her effort. And that it’s all set to a pounding dubstep beat is the sort of attention to period authenticity that’s sure to be remembered come awards season. I CANNOT WAIT.

Rather than vice versa. At least, that’s what we’re taking away from the heading and those bold, equally applicable declarations on this Liz & Dick poster. We guess Lifetime figured raising the idea of Linz & dick might draw a larger audience. (via People)
