What? This, to us, is the adult version of being a kid in a candy store. How do we get in?
Terrence Malick, the auteur director once infamous for eking out a movie every 10 years or so, now seems to be on a caffeine buzz, making a movie every 10 days, each more distancing than the last. On the heels of The New World, The Tree of Life, and To the Wonder are two movies in post-production, Voyage of Time and Knight of Cups, and a third currently filming. (Ugh, those titles.) Knight of Cups has a dream cast: Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett, Freida Pinto; the newest one, filming in Texas and currently untitled, has a dreamy cast: Michael Fassbender and Ryan Gosling together at last. We might actually have to see it. Maybe. Ohhh, we will.
