1. Celine Dion looking vaguely elegant, like Andrea Martin doing Annette de la Renta (too obscure?), pictured here arriving at the Dorchester hotel in London.
2. Sudden hoochie mama Selena Gomez attends the Flaunt Magazine launch party at Hakkasan Restaurant in Beverly Hills. We GET IT. You AREN’T A DISNEY PRINCESS ANYMORE. Now put your boobs away and take off that whore lipstick.
3. Rula Lenska – OMFG YOU GUYS! RULA LENSKA! – who Gen Xer’s will remember was briefly famous in America for claiming to be famous in a series of Alberto VOF hairspray commercials in the late ’70s. (“I’m Rula Lenska. As a star of stage and screen, I always have to look my best.”) Of course no one had ever heard of her, and she was famously the butt of many a Johnny Carson monologue. In fact, I remember I had a poster in my room – swear to god – that said “Who the Hell is Rula Lenska?” and it was a HUGE HIT with EVERYONE WHO SAW IT. Well, anyway, here she is, looking EVERY INCH THE STAR (no really! I believe you!), at the Collars & Coats Gala Ball annual fundraising event at Battersea Evolution in London.
4. Aaaand somebody brought one of those cardboard cut-outs of David Beckham and propped it up on the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards at Komische Oper in Berlin.

Tout le monde showed up for the AnOther Magazine party at Loulou’s in London last night. From top, left: model Suki Waterhouse and a rather festive egg, Beth Ditto wearing a fetching chapeau, Kate Moss looking like a very stylish SS officer, Alison Mosshart (who is the very essence of cool, don’tyouknow), Posh and Becks (do people still call them that?) arrive and I have to point out Posh’s incredible tuxedo cape, and finally Daphne Guinness, not looking her best, bless her heart. Enough with the heelless platforms already. (Photos: Pacific Coast News)
From top left: Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston breaking for lunch in Los Angeles; the cuteness that is Hayden Christensen on the New Orleans set of the set of American Heist (a remake of the 1959 Steve McQueen movie The Great St Louis Bank Robbery) was photographed in a strappy undershirt nonchalantly walking around smoking a cigarette and hanging with his producer brother, Tove; the mostly always elegant David Beckham turned up in London for the launch of the new Breitling Flagship Boutique on New Bond Street; and a sad Michael Imperioli in New York’s Tribeca after spending the earlier part of the day at the funeral service for his friend and Sopranos costar James Gandolfini.
