Noted film critic Peter K. Rosenthal examines the new Hunger Games movie and assesses the hotness of the boys in the cast.
1. J-Law wore a gorgeous sheer Dior Haute Couture gown to the LA premiere of Catching Fire. The dress featured a strapless bodysuit and a completely see-through overlay that bared her gorgeous gams.
2. Well-scrubbed beauty Charlene, Princess of Monaco, attends National Day of Monaco services looking like an alter boy dressed as The Shadow.
3. This pictured was labeled: “DJ and musician Pierre Sarkozy poses during the GQ Awards ceremony at Palace Hotel in Madrid,” which, while technically true, is a bit like saying “reporter Chelsea Clinton” or “Helicopter pilot Harry Windsor.” It kind of misses the point. But whatevs. I’m ashamed to say I’m digging the Lucky Spencer vibe he’s giving here.
4. Cara Delevingne seen out and about in Soho, New York City. Has she made round glasses “a thing”? God, I hope not. JOHN LENNON’S DEAD, CARA. Let him rest in peace!
“I’m seriously insecure about my body. I’m not someone who’ll take my top off on the beach. I’ll wear a vest. My wife [actress Laura Haddock] calls me manorexic, I do seriously have issues, I think. She thinks I’m getting so skinny, but I look at myself and think I’m getting fat. It’s the way the Hollywood [ideal] is thrown at you. There’s an element of wanting to be Ryan Gosling with a perfect six pack. When I first found out I’d got Finnick I went on the internet to see people’s reactions. And I’m on twitter so people were sending me their reactions. Some were more harsh than others.” – Catching Fire star Sam Clafin to Elle UK on male body image and the backlash from Hunger Games fans when he was cast as the hunky lothario, Finnick.
So here we are on the red carpet for the Munich opening of Catching Fire. Day two of the worldwide press junket, and already I’m exhausted. Wake me when we get to Dubrovnik. Here’s Josh Hutcherson pulling a Miley in his big-boy Sunday/Go-to-Meeting suit and Liam Hemsworth looking dapper in navy and black (although that tie is the wrong color navy. He should have gone with black, just sayin.) As for the ladies, eh. You’ll see them later on Extra! We need to pace ourselves. We’ve got PLENTY MORE Catching Fire red carpets to go. J-Law walks off the Catching Fire red carpet in the middle of an interview when she spies a little girl in a wheelchair crying behind the security barrier. She has security remove the barrier, then talks with the little girl for a few minutes before hugging her and posing for pics. She’s so perfect.
