Last night, Teija Vesterbacka arrived at the Finish Presidential Palace to celebrate the country’s independence in this lovely off-the-shoulder Angry Bird ball gown. According to Kotaku: “We assume she’s wearing the dress not just out of a love for the addictive cell phone game, but because she’s married to one of the executives at Rovio, the people who make Angry Birds.” Personally, I’m waiting for the Fruit Ninja collection.
Vogue Nippon‘s gorgeously eccentric editor Anna Dello Russo (who famously has a second apartment just for her clothes) wore this angry bird topper to Carine Roitfeld’s vampire-themed ball. It was designed by mad hatter Stephen Jones for Giles and features a giant red swan with its curved neck extended, its beak bared angrily, and real feathered wings spread wide. Love it.
