Onetime WOW Report mainstay, drug addict, musician, and artist, Pete Doherty, will be putting some of his fine art work on the auction block this week, including paintings he created by squirting human blood – his and that of anyone who happened to be bleeding and unconscious at the time. It’s a process he calls “arterial splatter.” The most curious of the splatter works being auctioned, of course, will be the one titled Ladylike, the donor for which was Doherty’s pal Amy Winehouse. It’s expected to go for around £80,000 (you do the math). “Blood plays the starring role in my work,” says Pete. “Sweat and tears are often waiting in the wings.” Ever the singer-songwriter.
