Since Kodak has filed for bankruptcy and gotten out of its naming rights deal with the theater, the word “Kodak” will be forbidden at the 84th annual Oscar blowout held inside the, uh, Kodak Theatre. That strikes us as sad. If the venue must be mentioned during the telecast, it shall be referred to as the Hollywood & Highland Center, the name of the shopping mall of which it is a part. Not very glamorous at all. But you might make a game out of it and do shots anytime someone does say “Kodak.” It could happen.
