Chanel, a wire-haired dachshund who held the title of the world’s oldest dog, died Friday of natural causes at home in Long Island, New York. She was 21, or 147 in dog years, as people will say. Chanel had quite a colorful life, for a dog, and celebrated her last birthday with a peanut butter flavored cake at a dog hotel and spa in Manhattan. (Source)
