According to Mumy, Tufeld – a cancer survivor – suffered from Parkinson’s disease. Mumy tells us, ‘Everything just caught up to him’ – adding, ‘He lost his wife a few years ago and lost his pep after that.’ Funeral Plans are already in place.” In addition to Lost in Space, Dick was also the opening announcer of The Judy Garland Show, The Red Skelton Hour, The Julie Andrews Hour, Zorro, Space Patrol, Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, Surfside 6, The Time Tunnel, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Fantastic Four, Spider-Woman, Thundarr the Barbarian, and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.
