Rock Around The Block is a reality show where two families reveal whether a lifetime of lip-synching and air-guitar equals actual musical talent! Each family has 48-hours to learn to sing a song chosen for them by the opposing family. With the help of vocal coaches, choreographers and stylists, the family that puts together the best look, sound and moves wins a cash prize. But will the generations be able to merge their differing musical tastes? Can the kids overcome their embarrassment at dad throwing a few groovy shapes (from a previous century?) And is mum really lead singer material?
