Friend of WOW Todd Warner is hosting a fund raiser tonight at Tailwaggers on Fairfax from 5PM-10PM to benefit A Dog’s Life Rescue. Drop for the fun, there will be snacks and music, a silent auction and some raffles. ADLR is a very special organization, dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused or neglected dogs and other animals, often focusing their efforts on animals that have been “thrown away” or marginalized due to their older age and/or health problems. Although these animals may not be as easy to place as an adorable young puppy or perfectly playful kitten, A Dog’s Life Rescue sees the value in these lives and is dedicated to providing the shelter and care necessary to nurse these animals back to health and ultimately place them into a loving family. These people are heroes of epic proportions.
