Of course you aren’t watching I Just Want My Pants Back, MTV’s new hipster comedy about a shaggy-haired 20-something Williamsburg altbro named Jason (Peter Vack) and his adorable friends who speak in air quotes and say things like “a hand job is a man’s job” and “let’s do it in your fridge!” And while that sounds terribly grating, it isn’t. The entire cast is beyond charming and manage to transcend all the hipster clichés that are thrown at them. Peter Vack is the breakout star, of course – THAT HAIR! THOSE EYES! – but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sunkrish Bala, who plays Bobby the bodega owner, doesn’t find himself knee-deep in groupies very soon. He’s pretty swoonworthy.
