Back Tat of the Day

“It is the longest tattoo that I have ever completed in terms of the time taken,” said London tattoo artist Rytch Soddy rather redundantly. “It was certainly more fun than the average tattoo and I am really pleased with it.” Soddy put in a full 24 hours creating the “Where’s Waldo” crowd scene on the back of a 22-year-old client, a charity situation that raised cash for a children’s hospital. The twist here is that he didn’t tell the client where he placed Waldo. (via The DW)

This is the front, and this is the back

Two men in a South Carolina McDonald’s parking lot approached a young woman and showed her a FedEx box that allegedly contained an iPad and offered to sell it to her for $300. A steal, but since she had only $180 on her, they let her have it for that unbelievably low price. And unbelievable it was; of course, when she got home, she discovered she had bought a block of wood with a screen painted on the front and the Apple logo painted on the back. Actually, it’s a pretty nifty bit of graffiti-style art, so not all is lost, but we’re wondering what part of “two men in a McDonald’s parking lot” didn’t set off signals that maybe everything wasn’t on the up-and-up. If you’re looking for something a little different and a lot hairier to do on this HUMP day, might I suggest heading over to the Faultline for Jeremy Lucido (Starrf*cker NSFW) and Gabe Ayala’s (Rolling Blackouts) party called Raunch. The party is every last Wednesday of the month, and is totally worth going to if for no other reason than to see what the crazy hostess with the moistest, Fade Dra Phey, will show up wearing (or not wearing).

Hobbies for Your Little Hell Raiser

Single metal parents have it hard enough as it is, and sometimes after a long day of headbanging, it’s hard to come up with creative ways to connect with your kids. Hessian Hobbies is making it easier, by offering suggestions for what you can do with your little hellion, through song and video. SAFTEY NOTE: It is generally frowned upon to let your child operate a loaded firearm.
