There are new students at William McKinley High this season, and I know, I know, you don’t care, nobody cares, but look at these boys. They don’t know they’ve joined a sinking ship. They’re all excited about booking a big primetime gig. Don’t they deserve a few minutes in the sun? Let’s PRETEND we care, for just a few moments. Let’s give them a little attention. The boy on the left is Dean Geyer who you might recall was so dreamy on Terra Nova last year. No? You didn’t watch? Well, he was. On Glee, he’ll play Brody Weston, an upperclassman at NYADA who has his eye on Rachel. The boy on the right is Jacob Artist, who had a small role in the seminal Lifetime masterpiece, The Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. He’ll play Jake Puckerman, the younger, half-brother of Puck. Says HuffPo: “Look for Jake to audition for the glee club, but his attitude could get in the way.” Ah, the old cocky Latino Jew, huh? Keep bustin’ them stereotypes, Ryan.
