Magic Men

World Premiere Steven Soderbergh Movies Magic Mike Los Angeles LA Film Festival Joe Manganiello Channing Tatum celebrity Alex Pettyfer

Alex Pettyfer, Channing Tatum, and Joe Manganiello were three of the stars who showed up last night at the Regal Theater at the glittering LA Live complex in Los Angeles for the world premiere of Steven Soderbergh’s male-stripper movie, Magic Mike, which closed the Los Angeles Film Festival. In fact, all the major stars were there, plus Soderbergh, plus teeming, heaving, panting hordes of fans lining the streets. Plus we were there, too, and saw the movie, and can report that it’s a major source of fun and excitement. We plan to see it again.  We can’t get over how wonderful the charming Channing is – an effortless actor with an easy comic edge, not to mention easy on the eyes. With this movie coming on the heels of his breezy performance in 21 Jump Street, we figure Tatum to be officially a major Hollywood star by tomorrow afternoon. (Photos: Pacific Coast News)
