Rocky Horror Picture Show New York New Wave Liquor Klaus Nomi Jagermeister Germany Aperitifs

Back in the 1970′s, the operatic, cubistic singing New-Waver from Germany, Klaus Nomi, was the spokesman for the then relatively new to the States German narcotic aperitif cum knockout tonic Jägermeister. These two photos from the period appeared on a two-sided advertising card called a table tent, and that Rocky Horror chick is the “kind of girl” Nomi’s meant to be ogling on the flip side. As if.
