Oh, so i watched cloud atlas last night, you know how im unable to venture outside without some sort of veiled attire like a sartorial burqa. Anyhow, the story was very rich and as expected from the wachowskis you ALWAYS get the most exquisite scenery to feast your eyes on. This is what i noticed about the matrix movies, that the location and visual angles were always stunning. It was a very diverse and beautiful story with so many elements of a great movie all cleverly combined into one. There was something for everyone. The movie was long but really got moving after the first half hour, which you expected to feel a little lost by because anyone who hasnt been living under a rock would be aware that the film is based on a novel about 6 or so interlocking stories all spread over centuries of time. I did have a problem witht he style of language they chose to use in one of the future time periods, yes it did add a certain element of charm but also made me feel a bit queezy at times. I must admit i didnt actually feel as though i understood the movie in it’s entirety and i might possibly watch it again to pick out the bits i feel i missed first time around. All in all, it was a good film, epic in it’s reach yet still retaining a humble quality http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGJE82p39jI&feature=g-vrec
