In this fascinating bit from the In Vogue DVD extras, Paris Bureau Chief Susan Train talks about traveling to Nemrut Dağ in the Adiyaman Province of Turkey in the 1960s so the models could pose next to some rather large stone heads. They traveled up the mountain on donkeys, but by the time they got there, the light was all wrong, so they had to spend the night on the rocks, and take the pictures in the morning sun.
