Vivienne Westwood’s F/W 2012 collection featured models whose combed-over hair and fake beards were covered in ice and snow. It was inspired, she says, by David Attenborough’s Frozen Planet, and is a direct comment on global warming and “the struggle it’s taking for the wildlife of these regions to survive their rapidly changing environment.” Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s all well and good, but I’m thinking it’s THE PERFECT LOOK to wear when you go see Titanic this weekend. It’s ALL ABOUT retro-’90s-Leo again, you know.
