Part II of a series, in which I analyze the consumer trends of street goats from a series of photographs taken in Old Delhi, India.
Do we classify this a “pant” if the goat walks on the appendage in question? Whatever the terminology, subject’s colonial yellow turn-ups strike an unsettling below-the-knee / above-the-ankle line, which while enhancing subject’s trim little ankles, simultaneously beg the question: WHAT IS THIS GARMENT? That said, SO on-trend with the hessian sack cloth.
CONCLUSION: 5 out of 10. Points scored for (intentional?) matching of yellow turn-ups with eyes. Points deducted for ambiguous length, possibly leading casual observer to the conclusion that this is, god forbid, a CAPRI PANT.
