John Travolta’s former pilot Doug Gotterba has got himself back in the news. He’s suing his former employer and alleged lover, claiming he never signed a confidentiality agreement that would stop him from talking to the press about his relationship with the actor. You’ll remember that not long ago he spoke to the National Enquirer about their “steamy affair.” In this new lawsuit, he doesn’t go into detail about what went on between him and the Scientologist, but says that after the tabloid fallout he received a letter from the actor’s lawyer, Marty Singer, threatening to sue him for violating a confidentiality agreement he’d signed when he left Travolta’s employ. Gotterba admits to signing an agreement, but says it didn’t contain anything about keeping his mouth shut. Singer says the pilot’s lawsuit is “without merit” and that Gotterba is just hoping for another 15 minutes of fame. Gotterba will persist with this, you know, but he’ll never win. Developing. Or not.
