Drag Ephemera & Birthday Booty!

Thanks to my upcoming birthday this weekend, my pre-Stonewall era drag ephemera collection continues to expand with a bevy of booty including some very cool Club 82 and Jewel Box Revue items! But the pièce de résistance (so far) is this stunning 1914 print of the famed female impersonator extraordinaire of the Edwardian era, Julian Eltinge. The photo of Julian was taken at the Dalton Theater and was originally published by The Strand Magazine. The print carries a certificate of authenticity and has been digitally recorded for a national archive. (Call me a happy birthday boy!)
