The first single off of RuPaul’s upcoming album Champion is “Cover Girl (Put the Bass in Your Walk),” which Ru says is a throwback to ’90s ballroom house music. “The song is RuPaul doing RuPaul,” says Ru. “I understand what the public wants from me – and I am letting these children have it!” Listen for the song everytime the girls of RuPaul’s Drag Race take to the runway on the Logo series which airs Mondays at 10 pm.  

Lucian Piane, he of the “RevoLucian Bale Out Remix” video that swept the Web last week, worked so well with RuPaul on the Drag Race theme that it was a no-brainer they should collaborate on the new album. Champion will be available to download on February 24, but you can buy the single right now.

As Ru is fond of saying, “It’s severe up in here!”
