Bowser Beer: Pup a Frosty!

Pup Culture Bowser Beer for Dogs

Bowser Beer, the beer brewed especially for dogs, is unlike regular beer for humans in that it has no hops, which are toxic to dogs. What it does have is meat broth, malt barley, and glucosamine, which is added for the dog’s joint health. Jenny Brown, the creator of Bowser Beer, started the company in 2007, and is currently shipping the canine suds to pet stores in 42 states. Bowser comes in two brews: Beefy Brown Ale and Cock-a-Doodle (which we’re assuming tastes like chicken). Live in Blighty? A special edition of Bowser Beer is sold in the pet department at Harrods in London. Buy a Bowser Beer 6-Pack $19.99. Click here for store locations in your area. (t/y Wolfgang)

Jenny Brown’s serving suggestions:

• Have your dog drink it straight from the bottle.
• Pour it over dry kibble.
• Flavor the water bowl.
• Pour over crushed ice for a cold, crunchy treat.
