Since I was a child I have adored cats. We had a cat while I was growing up (Husky we miss you!) and my parents have one now.

I always remember the cat we had when we were younger to be so loving, always wanting to snuggle up to me and nestle it's little head in my lap.

However, the cat my parents have now (Halle, the cat from Hell!) is the total opposite. She thinks she owns the house, prancing about with her tail in the air and never wants to 'snuggle' like good old Husky!

So you're asking 'is there a point to this long winded, random story!?'.... Well, for a long time now I've wanted a pet and my fiancee has said he will buy me one as a wedding present... SO because Halle has taught me I can never have my Husky back, I'm getting a little King Charles Spaniel........ok, so there is still no real point to my story, but hey I'm excited about the arrival of my puppy!!!

Ok.... So I'm getting stressed about planning a wedding whilst still trying to manage the many different things I have to get done on a day to day basis!! It doesn't help either that the sun has decided to descend onto the U.K. causing a mini heatwave that is distracting me in more ways than one!
Between trying to sunbathe at every opportunity absolutely anywhere - (yep, I'm that person you see on a random piece of greenery that's usually located in a obscure place!) - and finding excuses to just be 'out'... whether it be for a drink, to meet friends, drive around London with all the windows down in the Fiesta blasting Beyonce, or to run non important errands that involve me being 'out'.... I'M NOT GETTING ANYTHING DONE!!!

Is it too late for a wedding planner!!!??......... HELP!!

Summer is here in all it's glory!!.. The skirts, shorts and open toe shoes are out in full force ladies! The only thing is, this is the season when you're that extra bit concious of those excess pounds!
Apparently, studies show that the 1st week in May is the best time to get in the gym and start that diet so you are bikini ready for summer??!!... Well, I'm going for it guns blazing! Not only do I NEED to be bikini ready for the summer... I have to fit into my wedding dress without feeling too snug! Here goes....!!

I had the pleasure of meeting McKenzie Crook star of new movie Three and Out, or you might remember him in The Office... What a nice guy! Absoutlely tiny (or am I just big!?), and very polite. Not as funny in person as I thought he'd be, but hey everyone's got to have their downtime huh?!

Been slacking on the wedding planning lately (yes, I'm one of those people that need a little downtime!!!)
The invitations are out though, thanks to my lovely parents and now I'm just going to have to continuously pesture most people for their RSVP cards! - have to admit, I hardly ever RSVP when I know I'm attending somewhere! But the answer to everyone asking isn't a verbal "yeah, I'm coming" enough? HELL NO!!!!!!

Ok, so here we are.. Another jam packed season of BITE!

I've got to admit, I am a little overly excited about bringing you more fantastic trends I recommend you should experience. My fiesta has been cleaned, waxed and is ready to whizz round the streets on the look out!

It's been a crazy month for me, in between being totally knocked out with this dreaded flu virus that has infected everyone and their Granny!.. I am planning my forthcoming wedding!!

I'm very happy about the prospect of becoming an official 'Mrs' and have decided to undertake the task of planning my wedding day entirely myself (well with some help from my Mom, sisters, Mother in Law, cousins, friends...) Ok well not entirely on my own then!

If it's not too much of a bore I think I'm going to keep you all updated in my weekly blog on the whole 'planning a wedding in 2 and a half months!

So far my dress has been ordered! It was the first one I saw and tried on, and I absolutely loved it- why keep looking after that???

I've had the bridesmaid dresses ordered too, after some delusional measurements from the girls (you know who you are! None of us have this 24inch waist!)

So far, so good though... Smooth sailing, but I know the nearer we get to July 4th the more manic things will become!!

I'm a firm believer in Karma and I received my fair share this week!

While Shadowing a Keeper at Paradise Widlife Park (which is a fantastic experience by the way) I thought it would be funny to give one of the Monkeys tail a little tug (well a kind of big tug!) We were told not to even stroke them let alone have a pull of their tail, but I don't know what came over me! Anyway, the Monkey hated it and I felt a little bad as it wouldn't come anywhere near me after that!

After leaving I needed to stop at the Petrol Station and put Unleaded petrol in my Deisel Fiesta! NIGHTMARE!! ... So then I was stuck in BROXBOURNE for 3 and a half hours waiting to be rescued by the AA!

My Christmas break was AMAZING!! I went to Miami as a last minute surprise from my boyfriend and partied HARD - I mean I only had 4 days in the 'party state', so I had to make the most of it! I even managed to fit in a visit by my family who were over in Florida on their Christmas break too...oh AND got a new tattoo!!

Decided to have a quiet New Years Eve - or that's what I thought! Lol
Had a small gathering at my house and cooked a lovely dinner (got a cookbook for Christmas!).. That all went really well until the Champagne got popping... Then it all went a little, let's just say CRAZY!!

The weather is horrible and all the shops have Christmas trees in the window (isn't it way too early for all of that!?) Everyone seems to be getting the seasonal cold that comes at this time of year...but I've just found a new clothing line at Wrangler and its called Blue Bella Story, so I'm a happy girl!

Wrangler have been around for years and they have just spiced up their collection with this new line. It's young, fun and affordable! They're not just using jeans either. They have some cute printed satin and cotton shirts which could be dressed up or down. The jeans have a really good cut to them that makes them fit in all the right places, and you know we all love that! Get yourself down to a Wrangler store and stock up, you could even get someone a Christmas presie (early) whilst you're there!

Anyone that knows me knows that I love good food! So you can imagine how happy I was when I found out about an organic pub! The Duke of Cambridge in North London serves only organic food and drink, and trust me it is amazing!... Don't think about counting calories when you visit this pub!

Between bite and 1Xtra, I'm a busy bee lately!.. I love it! I interviewed the beautiful Alicia Keys on Friday. She played her new single 'No One' live on a piano for us and admitted to cheating on a boyfriend before! What can I say... She's an honest lady!

The HEAT magazine feature on bite looks fantastic! Was so excited, I sent a text round to all of my friends telling them to buy it! (Yep, how sad!)

Been busy driving around London filming, and treated Esther (my car!) for a long overdue wash! (obviously it's female... Again very sad, but I'm a real cornball when I want to be!)

In between filming, lots of things have been happening on my 1Xtra show with Trevor. Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child came into the studio to see us, and I also got the chance to interview Soul Diva Chaka Khan! Showbiz Showbiz!

Off to the Theatre tonight to see Christian Slater's new play Swimming with Sharks, will let you know how it goes!

Wassup - it's your girl Zena here! I'm busy busy busy right now - it's the week before bite goes global. I'm so excited!

Is it me, or is it always difficult to explain yourself and what you're like!? Ask me to describe someone else, my friends, boyfriend or family and trust me I'll talk for England about them! Whereas talking about myself always seems a little corny! Lol

Well, here goes! I'm a fun loving girly girl, I love pink, experiencing new things and travelling... Of course there is A LOT more to me than this but jeeeeeez, do u really want to hear it all!? I can be a little bit of a handful at times (my parents have some really embarrassing stories about me and my teenage years, that always seem to get brought up to random people that don't really need to know all of that!) But more importantly I love this new series called BITE, that I happen to be on!!!

I'm having so much fun driving around filming all these new and exciting things that I think people would be interested in trying or doing... Does a job get any better than that.... Erm... I think not!

Glad this is a bog entry and not me on camera because my voice is totally gone at the moment. Was out with some old friends this weekend, and let's just say had a little more to drink than anticipated!

Plus, it's the second week of my 1Xtra breakfast show - it's crazy. I've already met Russell Crowe and J-Lo!
