RadarOnline is of the opinion that the open-mouth, tongue-involved snogging John Mayer and Perez Hilton performed for a full five minutes at club Stereo in 2006 is probably a lie perpetrated by Ashton Kutcher for his new show Pop Fiction. Although Mayer's rep calls the story "completely ridiculous," Hilton's so sure the kiss happened that he took a lie detector test with a guy from Fox's The Moment of Truth.

Saturday night, I brought my best gal pal, Allan, to Perez Hilton’s Big 30th Birthday Party. It was chock full of goodness, like the photobooth they set up compliments of KY LUBE. The place was chock full of random celebs. All I could think of was Dave, the guy who did the voiceover intros in WHAT PEREZ SEZ barking in that fake cheesy voice of his..."Look, there’s Heidi and Spencer from THE HILLS sitting in a corner talking to nobody! Isn’t she adorable? It’s Amanda Bynes! Are those designer celebs Marc Jacobs and Andrew Christian? What’s up home skillet? It’s Andy Milonakis!"

The open bar featured absinthe, which I’ve always wanted to try ever since Ewan McGregor hallucinated about a Kylie Minogue Green Fairy in Moulin Rouge. They even authentically dripped water through sugar cubes into it, because I guess that adds that special LSD touch. It definitely was trippy, and although I saw lots of fairies at the party, none of them were green... except the one who drove the Prius, obviously. (Read more here)

When we found out that Janet Jackson wanted to sit down with Perez for our big Divas show, World of Wonder became TIZZY CENTRAL. OMG! We have to do this right. More lights! More prepping! More! More! More! We set up shop in a suite at the Four Seasons and lit the room within an inch of its life. You could feel the nervous energy all around. It’s not every day that you get to meet a true superstar… unless of course, you’re us and you book one after another for our phenomenal DIVAS show. We have Dolly Parton! Gloria Estefan! Mary J. Blige! Tori Amos! Pink! Keyshia Cole! Nastasha Bedingfield! Jill Scott! Chaka Khan! It’s officially LLO (Living Legend Overload) around here.

But back to Miss Jackson. We knew we were in for a good time when her completely down-to-earth publicist arrived first and told us all to relax, that Janet was really cool and would put us all at ease. And then…poof! There she was. She looked amazing, and wait until you see the show. Can I get a F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S, please? She and Perez clicked and he got some stuff out of her you’ve never seen in any of her previous interviews. Pink is cool. Like pull up to an interview on a hog while wearing leather boots and a helmet cool. Like she doesn’t even need her once-trademarked pink hair to make us remember her name cool. When I met her, I was standing there with Joseph Ferraro, our Co-Executive Producer, and Cooper Green, another Producer (it takes a posse of producers to make this show!), …and we just kind of stood there and stared. I chimed in, “We’re big fans. Do you mind if we just look at you for a minute?” She let us, because she’s cool…and we’re not. She sat down with Perez in, what else, a cool little coffeehouse in Venice, and they were vibing. She took pictures with all of us and even squeezed my moobs. Cool, eh? The booking came fast and furious. We had about two hours notice to race down to Mary J. Blige’s music video shoot and hang out with her in her majorly pimped out trailer for a sit-down interview. It was like someone said, “Mary J. Bl-…” and before finishing her name, we were going, “How high?” Ok, first things first. She didn’t have a trailer, she had a full-on, collapsible, doubledecker motor home mounted on a giant flatbed. It had retractable flat screens everywhere and the fresh scent of gardenias, or plumeria, or, I don’t know, lilies. Who cares? It didn’t smell like beer, bongs, and ass like most tour buses tend to do. And before we knew it, we were looking at Mary J. Blige, who was put together very nicely with these sick Alexander McQueen boots that made every woman and gay person in the room want to drop everything and find some cheap knockoffs at the Off Broadway Show Warehouse on Sunset. I’ve loved Tori Amos since the beginning of her recording career. She always reminded me of a cross between Stevie Nicks, with her highly personal, almost indecipherable lyrics, and Carole King, only with a much more sexually charged approach to writhing around on her piano stool while playing multiple keyboards at once. Tori was so sweet. When she exited her car at our top secret Burbank hotel location, she introduced herself to everyone. Me, our other producers, the doorman, a random guest…everyone! Perez is also a diehard fan, so his excitement was palpable when he greeted her, and the color contrasts between their hair was eye-popping. After their interview, Perez and Tori retired to the bedroom for an in-depth discussion about merkins. Don’t know merkins? Google it and come back……got it? Good. We shot her segment at the Beverly Wilshire aka The Pretty Woman Hotel and took full advantage of Mikimoto down below to hook her up with some amazing pearls to wear for the shoot. And yes, Perez being Perez, he did not miss an opportunity to turn that into a “pearl necklace/pearl diving” exercise in questionable taste. But here’s the good behind-the-scenes part: After we wrapped, when the Mikimoto representative whisked away all the goods, Jill told her assistant that she wanted to go shopping. For a second there, I wanted to cry that I missed Halloween this year in West Hollywood. But then I came to my senses and realized that all I missed were hundreds of thousands of people dressed up as either Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, or the oh-so-played out Decks of Cards. Perez interviewed Whoopi at her Clear Channel radio station, where she goes on from 5-8:30AM before going off to do The View. Talk about a workhorse. Now here's the part where you fall in love with her. She showed up by herself. No entourage to speak of. She brought Halloween cupcakes for everyone and even offered to get our crew some

2007 was a big year for all things criminal! Ankle bracelets! DUIs! Assault with a deadly baseball bat! So what better place to meet up with that villainous vixen, Tiffany "New York" Pollard, than in jail? OK, confession time. We didn't really shoot this in an actual jail. We were in this hideous warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, where apparently rats and cockroaches have finally attained Master Civilization status. We had to build a wall of fake bricks behind the fake cell in order to convince you that we really were in the clinker, but in retrospect, a real jail would have been luxurious by comparison. Although we did doctor the set up with a delightful red sheet, because, well, New York and Perez just POP in front of it, don't you think. Fake jail or not, this is one segment of What Perez Sez you absolutely cannot miss. Perez and New York hit it off so well, I see a new show a-brewin' here. The chemistry oozes, the necks snap, and New York proves to be finger lickin' good.... Literally. They met up at The Shave in Beverly Hills because Perez felt Bobby had had a rough year (what with a divorce, an alleged heart attack, and jacked-up toenails and all), so he thought he'd pamper him with a little hot cream in his face. Yesterday, Tyra Banks took great pride in outing Mandy Moore as a closet filthy-mouthed curser on her talk show, a segment which seemed rather familiar for those of us at World of Wonder working on the Perez Hilton show. Barely two months ago, Perez interviewed Mandy on his VH1 special What Perez Sez, and made pop's good girl say some very rude words on camera. I won't repeat them here on our family blog, but let's just say that Mandy Moore's favorite curse words rhyme with "pucker," "mother-pucker," and "pig-pucker." Oh, and "rum-slut".

OMG! OMG! OMG! We were in Simon Cowell's house! American Idol! Teletubbies! Il Divo! Hate to ruin his reputation, but the guy couldn't have been more gracious. We had free reign over the beverages in his extra-wide subzero fridge, and he chatted with us about his classic cars parked in the driveway. His Morgan actually has a belt wrapped around the hood, which you have to undo to check the oil or refill the windshield wiper fluid or any number of things I'm sure Simon does himself. I learned some valuable lessons today – that the more successful you are, the more wiper blades you have on your car (Simon's has three tiny ones in front), that built-in espresso machines are so cool, and that people –people who have strong opinions about other people – are the luckiest people in the world. UK sensation, Mika, wouldn't have had half the buzz here in the US without Perez singing his praises on his website. Thanks to Perez sneaking his tracks way before Mika's Life in Cartoon Motion album dropped, I had already committed "Grace Kelly," "Love Today," and "Billy Brown" to memory like a crazy Dashboard Confessional fan. We met up with Mika on the rooftop of his West Hollywood hotel (and, yes, I know that sentence is classic cliché popstar reportage) and Perez fell asleep waiting for MIka to show. SPOILER ALERT! Perez Hilton and hottie Michael Bublé are GAY HOMOSEXUAL LOVERS! We caught up with the lovebirds backstage at the Boob's sold-out Greek Theatre concert recently and made a mental note to ourselves that they simply cannot keep their hands off each other. In addition to the tonsil hockey, the Canadian chanteuse taught Perez how to play real hockey, complete with kneepads and big sticks. Michael was such a team player, if you know what I mean, that he even got into the spirit of things and helped our crew lug all of our equipment inside. Brownie points! But the REAL story here was even more behind-the-scenes. We got to hang with Liz Rosenberg, his uber-publicist, who represents the one and only Madonna. Liz couldn't have been sweeter. She reminded me of my Aunt Leona in Cleveland. This all means that we were one degree separated from Madonna! OMG! But then, aren't we all?
