Blake takes his friend Charlie Altuna, from Margaret Cho's new VH1 reality series The Cho Show, on a shopping excursion to Pop Killer on Sunset Boulevard. On the way, Charlie is alarmed and profoundly dismayed to see that Melrose landmarks Drake's and Aardvarks have closed forever. (Actually, just Drake's has closed down and Aardvarks has moved into the former Drake's space, but Charlie didn't know that at the time.) Later, they enjoy shopping, until Charlie feels abruptly and decisively over it, at which point Blake takes him home.

Taking place on the same day as Episode 9 (don't ask), Blake has now taken Tricia Walsh Smith to her meeting, but must return to the same building later in the day for a drop-off, which he isn't thrilled about. Even though he's having a boring day, Blake is cheered up by a quick chat with World of Wonder receptionist Lindsey.
